Functional exercises are cross plane full body motions that use nearly all joints and muscles in movement. The body works as a unit so why not train it as a unit, for every day movement and or sport specific movements.

 

Stretching:

Stretching reduce stress, can improve range of motion of joints and restore flexibility of the muscle and soft tissue, help muscles recover from over use and injuries.

 

Pilates:

Unique combination of floor based stretching and strengthening exercises.  Movement are like combining Yoga, callisthenic and stretches. Great for beginners, seasoned exerciser or athletes and for rehabilitation. Flowing movement help improve posture, increased freedom of movement, and reduce physical tension. Core stability and body awareness make mat work great for full body conditioning.  Pilates is great for any fitness level.
