The Active Bodyworks® Training method combines in one full workout:

  • Full functional body exercises

  • Functional strength training

  • Muscle confusion

  • Small apparatuses

We developed this unique system in an effort to provide a method of training that is safe, fun, efficient and effective. Each of our functional training programs is designed in a format that can be utilized by an individual, and small or large groups.

 

The program format consists of full-body and twisting close chain movements - with walk/jog/run motions. By using our diverse method we use various cardio-related exercises that enhance motor skills and cardiovascular parameters:

  • Balance and stability exercises that enhance postural awareness and body alignment

  • Calisthenics that improve flexibility and body awareness

  • Small apparatus training exercises that build muscles and bones

1. Session/Class:

All classes are 55 minutes long. Each is led by a trained, certified and insured instructor.

 

2. Equipment:

All non-gym equipment is provided, including but not limited to: Bands, Ropes,

Balls, Hand outs and Forms.

 

3. “Online Wellness Tool:

Each participant will be given on-line access to our “Online Wellness Tool” for ongoing support, including:

  • A full fitness assessment

  • A interim evaluation

  • FDA food pyramid

  • Access to recipes, Meal and menu plan

  • Additional exercises and stretches

  • Daily dose of motivation support

  • Group challenges 

  • Learn how to take advantage of Active Zones
